英語では、Could you take these plates away,please?と言います。
① フレーズ（英語＋日本語訳）
Could you take these plates away, please?
このお皿を下げていただけますか？
※もっと短く言うなら
Could you clear these plates, please?
このお皿を片づけていただけますか？
② 解説
レストランやカフェで、使い終わったお皿を下げてもらいたい時は、
Could you take these plates away, please?
が自然で分かりやすいです。
ポイントはこの2つです。
- take away ＝ 持っていく、片づける
- these plates ＝ これらのお皿
最初に Excuse me をつけると、さらに丁寧です。
③ 会話文（日本語→英語）
A：すみません、このお皿を下げていただけますか？
A: Excuse me, could you take these plates away, please?
B：もちろんです。
B: Of course.
A：こちらはもうお済みですか？
A: Are you finished with these?
B：はい。下げていただいて大丈夫です。
B: Yes. You can take them away.
④ 関連表現（日本語→英語）

⑤ ニュアンスメモ
- Could you take these plates away, please? は、丁寧でとても自然です。
- お皿が1枚なら this plate、複数なら these plates を使います。
- clear the table は、お皿だけでなくテーブル全体を片づける感じです。
- put the plates away は、食器棚などに収納する意味になりやすいので、レストランで「下げる」なら take away の方が自然です。
まずは
Excuse me, could you take these plates away, please?
で覚えておくと使いやすいです。
